From Marketing and PR to TikTok, from Baby Lasagna to Ultra Europe – The BrandNew Conference Showed Where the Future of Communications Is Headed

For one day, the Student Centre Cinema in Zagreb became the most exciting place for everyone who lives and breathes communications. The first edition of the BrandNew conference, organized by the platform Mediakit.hr, brought together nearly 500 participants – students, juniors, and young professionals from the worlds of marketing, public relations, media, and production – with the support of leading domestic and international speakers.

Held on the occasion of International Marketing Day, BrandNew offered more than just education – it delivered an experience that inspires, connects, and opens doors to the industry. Through lectures, panels, and Q&A sessions, the audience had the opportunity to learn directly from top experts in an atmosphere that combined knowledge, fun, and new opportunities.

“We wanted to give young people a chance to experience the industry first-hand, feel the power of community, and take their first steps in building a professional network – not just among themselves, but also with the experts and educational institutions supporting them along the way. I believe we succeeded,” said Maroje Sabljić, director of the conference.

The entire event confirmed the idea that a conference doesn’t need to be strict or formal, but rather a space where knowledge and connections are built naturally – through experience, collaboration, and a sense of belonging to a new generation of creatives.
